Climbing
Climbing in Yangshuo has developed a lot since 1990 when Todd Skinner first bolted routes at Moon Hill and Banyan Tree. Since then visiting climbers have established thousands of high quality world class new routes. With literally thousand s of limestone Karst towers to explore, there looks to be no limit to the climbing and new route potential in the area. Visit Karst where you can purchase the latest copy of the guide book to the area by Paul Collis "Rock Climbing in Yangshuo" or read the new route book for the area where all the latest routes are recorded.
Our guide's service is for anyone from the first time climber to the more experienced climber. All of our trips include transport, lunch and a free drink on your return (if you book for a whole day). If you are by yourself and want to get a good selection of routes or ticked or if you don't have any equipment here or don't have anyone to climb with, we can help you go climbing, by finding climbing partners and explore Yangshuo's country side with you.
Guided Climbing
- Half or full day Climbing with a guide to organise everything for you and make your climbing safe and enjoyable.
- Multi-day climbing trips for beginners and/or experienced climbers.
- Multi-pitch sport climbing guiding for intermediary and experienced climbers (one guide to one customer or one guide to 2 customers depending on your route choice and experience).
Climbing lessons
For those of you who do'nt just want to experience climbing but who want to learn skills and have you own adventures (these are just examples as lessons are customised for the individuals need).
Half day and full day introduction to sport climbing courses (content depends on your experiences).
2 day to 5 day beginner courses for improving rock climbing skills. This can include climbing technique, simple rope work and safety systems.
